Learn eCommerce on a paycheck.
Real Prices Academy is building a paid E-Commerce Specialist apprenticeship. It is run by Real Prices LLC, a York-area online seller for nine years, so apprentices learn on real stores with real orders.
The work you'll learn is the work stores pay for
You'll be an employee, not a student paying tuition. You work on live stores under supervision and take classes alongside the job.
Listings and catalogs
Write product listings, set up catalogs and keep inventory accurate across marketplaces.
Pricing and ads
Price to compete, run marketplace and search ads, and read the numbers that say what's working.
Orders and fulfillment
Pick, pack and ship, handle returns, and keep delivery promises.
Customer service
Answer buyers, solve problems and protect store ratings.
- Join the interest list. We'll contact you when the program is registered and openings are posted.
- Apply and interview. Openings will also be posted on PA CareerLink. Requirements will be published with the openings.
- Work, learn, get paid. About 40 hours a week on the job plus about 3 hours of class.
- Finish with a credential. Completing a registered apprenticeship earns a nationally recognized certificate.

Start your own apprenticeship program
Pennsylvania funds registered programs, and registration takes paperwork most owners don't have time for. We do it with you.
| Service | What you get | Price | Available |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apprenticeship setup | Your work process, program standards and registration paperwork, coordinated with the state Apprenticeship and Training Office | $2,500 flat | Now |
| Grant applications | Applications for programs such as DCED's Foundations in Industry Training grant, which pays up to $3,000 per apprentice per year | $1,000–$2,500 flat | Now |
Grant writing is a flat fee, never a percentage of an award. No grant is guaranteed; awards are decided by the state.
A new eCommerce pathway for South Central Pennsylvania
Most registered apprenticeships in Pennsylvania are in trades, manufacturing and health care. Online selling keeps growing, and few local programs train for it. Here is where we are and what comes next.
Dates after the first phase are estimates and depend on state approval.
